Vents Hex

Vents Hex: The Geometry of Flow
The Context:
Exhaust fans for bathrooms and kitchens are often perceived as purely utilitarian, boring objects. For the Vents Hex, the goal was to transcend the standard industrial geometries of flat plastic covers and create a focal point that interacts with light and shadow.
Design Philosophy:
The design is inspired by the hexagonal structures found in nature and the visual representation of a vortex. The concentric, multi-layered rings aren’t just decorative; they create a sense of depth and motion, visually communicating the fan’s function even when it’s static.
The Result:
By blending a clean, minimalist exterior with a complex, parametric-inspired core, we’ve created a product that fits seamlessly into modern architectural spaces. The curved surface of the front panel softens the overall silhouette, making the Vents Hex a subtle yet sophisticated element of interior design rather than just a mechanical necessity.
